ISPS HANDA Gatsu-n to tobase Tour tournament 2021

Yuta Uketake gets on the roll and extends his lead to 5 shots facing the Final Round tomorrow

Yuta Uketake, 5th year professional is on the roll towards his first Tour victory. On the "moving Saturday" Yuta made big moves from the start by making a chip-in eagle on Par 5 2nd. His tee shot was in the roughs, but after laying it up to the fairway, his 3 rd shot from 72 yards went straight to the pin.
"I was watching my shot and was pleased to see it was going right to the pin."
Ball bounced 3 to 40 yards front of the pin and then it fell in.

From this miraculous shot, Yuta became unstoppable. He made 10-meter on 5th, made easy 1- meter on 8th, uphill 13-meter on 9th, and also made down slope 2-meter on 10th for 3 consecutive birdies.

He added 2 more on 12th and 13th, and at that moment he noticed he had 5 shot margin against the 2nd place player.
"Somehow I was able to see the leader board with calmness. I was able to put the score aside and concentrate on each and every shots. I am having good feeling on my putting, and it saved me from troubles too."

Yuta has 5 shots lead against the crowd going onto Sunday.
"It is my first time to be in the final group on Sunday, so I don't know how I will react."

His buddy, Kazuki Higa has already won twice on the Tour.
"We don't usually talk about golf when we eat, but maybe I should ask for his advice today."
