ISPS HANDA Gatsu-n to tobase Tour tournament 2021

What "Mr. Accuracy" Yuki Inamori learned at the ZOZO Championship

Yuki Inamori was offered the sponsorship from ISPS around same time last year. It was during the special exhibition game hosted by ISPS, "ISPS HANDA Don't get beaten by COVID Charity Regular Tournament".

This week he will be playing as one of the hosting professional for first time on official Regular Tour tournament. He is feeling obligated to play well and win to give back his appreciation, but he is being not too pumped up about it.
"We have only 6 more tournaments, and from now on the temperature will get colder and that means we will be exhausted. It is impossible to play all of the rounds will 200% power. So, I plan to play smart."

Last week at ZOZO Championship, he was astonished by the greatness of Hideki Matsuyama.
"His 2nd shot with 5W darting like that on the green is magnificent technic. If I started to compare myself to the top elites, I will go crazy, so I want to keep my style and focus 1 shot at the time. I believe that will lead to good result."

Na matter how great the stage might be, Yuki can keep his style with calmness, that is his greatest strong point. Yuki played along with Cameron Tringale on the first 2 rounds.
"Cameron has great distance too, but he also has good strategy and make all the putts when he has the chance. I have learned so much from him. It was very tough PGA setting and having rain and gusty wind on 2R was giving me difficult time, but I was able to figure out the playing strategy and course management. I learned from the other players and took the technics in as I played."

Yuki was able to finish at 1 over Par, with 35T.

"I came to the conclusion that I shouldn't go too aggressive for birdies. I want to get myself a chance first and then make the putts. I want to put more weight on the details of my golf and focus each and every shot with clever managements. So, I plan not to be too aggressive this week and if I could perform my best golf for 4 rounds, the chance for the victory will come to me eventually."
