Takumi Kanaya will make his Pro debut in same groupings with Rikuya Hoshino and Ryo Ishikawa

The 1st Round groupings has been announced and Takumi Kanaya who has just turned Pro will be making his debut round with Rikuya Hoshino and Ryo Ishikawa from 1st Tee at 11:35 JST. Takumi who was the World's No.1 Armature has finished as runner-up in 2017 on his freshman year and has claimed 3 Low Amateur titles since his junior years at this prestigious tournament. This week he will challenge to make his Victory No.1 at his debut tournament.

2 year in a row Order of Merit Champion Shugo Imahira will group with Mikumu Horikawa and Koki Shioki to start off at 10th Tee at 7:30 JST. Last year Mikumu finished as runner-up and Koki started out as the leader with 4 shot lead by plunged to 10T, so both of them are eager to win this year.

Player's Chairman Ryuko Tokimatsu will group up with amateur Keita Nakajima and Hiroyuki Fujita starting off from 1st Tee at 12:02 JST.

This year 102 professionals and 18 amateurs will be in the field. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic situations, most of the International players including the Defending Champion Chan Kim will be not able to make the appearance
