【Regulations: Career Money】

The total official money a player has earned for his career from Official Money Tournaments (1973-1986) and Official Tour Tournaments (1987-YTD).
It also includes money earned from International Majors (Masters, The Open, US Open and USPGA Championship) from 1998 to YTD, and WGC events (not including team competitions) from 1999 to 2009. A player must play at least 50 percent of the official tour events in a year (rounded up to the nearest whole number), including International Majors and WGC events (ecxept team competitions), otherwise his earnings in such a year will not be added to his career money.

Note: Until 2016, the minimum number of events that a player is required to play in a year was 16, including International Majors and WGC events (except team competitions).
