Inaugural Golf Partner Pro-Am was colorful with Record Tie Lowest Score & Hole-in-One awards

Seong-Hyeon Kim accomplished remarkable task of posting a Record Tie Lowest Score of the Tour of "58". A historical achievement by Ryo Ishikawa back in 2008 at The Crowns.

Seong-Hyeon Kim went out from 10th, and he made the rocket start with 3 straight birdies. Then on 13th, he made chip-in eagle from 40 yards out. He smoothly made 2 more birdies on 16th and 18th.
"I made the turn with 7 under so the record did cross my mind. When you think about those things, you tend to go safely, but somehow I was very aggressive until the end."

After the turn, he made back-to back birdies on 2nd & 3rd. His finishing holes were fascinated with birdie on 8th followed by his 2nd eagle of the day on final 9th. With so many birdie and eagle marks on his score card, he jumped up from 62T to 11th to close his magnificent day.

22 years old Seong-Hyeon Kim has joined Japan Tour since 2019, is on his 4th year as a Pro. His best finish on the Tour is 3rd at Kansai Open this May. His goal is to play on US PGA Tour via cub-tour challenge.

Also today, Hyun-Woo Ryu made a Hole-in-One on 6th with his 8I. He received 100,000-yen from the tournament host sponsor Golf Partner.
"It was my first on the tournament. Since we cannot go out to eat nowadays, I will put it safely in savings."
