Justin De Los Santos marks Tour tie record of 7 straight birdies/or more, scoring 28 on his front 9

Justin De Los Santos from Philippines made a lot of noise, by making magnificent birdie/ or more spree. He made 5 straight birdies from his starting hole 10th, then made a chip-in eagle on 15, and added another birdie on 16th. He played 7 consecutive holes with birdie/ or more and score 28 on his front nine. This is Tour tile record for most consecutive birdie/ or more. He had only 7 putts, which also ties the record for most less putts.

He made chip-in birdie on 12th, and on 15th his 30 yards short game with 60 degrees wedge found the bottom of the cup.
"Actually, that shot wasn't so good. I thought I made a miss, but it went in, so I was surprised too."

If he had birdies 17th, he would have renewed the most consecutive birdie/ or more record since it was last accomplished 21 years ago.
"I wanted to go for one more, but I think it was play that it stopped. I didn't want to get under too much pressure."

On his back nine, he scored 2 birdies and a bogey, but he totaled to 12 under and positioned himself just 3 strokes behind the leaders going on to final Sunday.
"I am having really good feeling on my game this week. My game is good in every aspects. I can't find any reason why I won't win this week."

Justin is born and raised in USA, but his parents are from Philippines. He has 2 passports, but he officially chose Philippines as his home country on JGTO registrations.
"I haven't had the chance to meet with Yuka Saso, but I want to liven up Philippine as same as her."
