Ryutaro Nagano who lost to an amateur on the playoff says "I'm speechless"

13th year professional Ryutaro Nagano's wish to have his 1st victory slipped through his fingers as he lost against an amateur Keita Nakajima on the playoff.

Ryutaro started his Final Round as one of the co-leaders, but with heavy rain and gusty wind, he struggled and soon he was caught up by the field. He made a great bounce back on his back nine to make 3 birdies to take the lead again by 1 shot, but his toughest ordeal came on the Par 3 18th.

His tee shot with 8I went down into the bunker which lies under the right-side cliff. The ball was buried, and it was impossible to go for the pin, so he decided to play safe. But still that shot out of the bunker was too weak, and it rolled back into the sand. He got it out on his 3rd shot and managed to hole out with a bogey, barely to stay in the playoff.

Playoff was held on that same 18th.
"I really wanted to nail it with the same 8I", Ryutaro recalled, but this time it was too short and rolled into the deep roughs in front of the green. His opponent, Keita Nakajima safely caught the green and had a birdie chance. Keita didn't finish with victory birdie putt, but par was enough for him, as Ryutaro missed the par putt, he gave away the victory to Keita.

13th year professional loses against and amateur.
"I'm speechless about that. But I think it doesn't matter whether you are professional or an amateur on this level of tournaments. I just want to congratulate Keita wo wonderful performance."
