Panasonic Open Golf Championship 2021

Ryosuke Kinoshita is undecisive between his hunt for Order of Merit title or challenge to go abroad

Ryosuke Kinoshita is on a roll, his shots are hot as ever.
"I can easily image my trajectory as soon as I get on my stance. I was told from my coach 2 weeks ago in a session, that I though too much on my putting. Now I let my gut control it and that style is working amazingly".

Now, Ryosuke stands at 2nd on Money Rankings. He also has the privilege on this tournament's venue, Joyo CC since he plays at least once a month along with clubs' members.
"Joyo CC has narrow fairways with hard and slick leveled greens, but I know all the spots for possible birdie chances."

As he stated his confidence on this course, be played bogey free round of 65 on his 1R. On his 1st hole, he placed his ball to 2-meters from the roughs and went on to make 8-meters on 2nd for consecutive birdies. He finished his first 9 holes with another 2 straight birdies. Then on 15th, he faced trouble as his 2nd shot was buried in the roughs but got it out with 4I to 3-meters and drained the downhill putt for birdie with perfect read.

"If I could win my career 3rd victory here, that will be great."
His margin between No.1 Money Ranker Rikuya Hoshino is less than 1,000,000-yen.
"My goal for this pro-longed season is to become the Order of Merit Champion. My buddy Hideki Matsuyama has done it, and I want to become the 3rd player among the same aged colleagues."

Hideki Matsuyama and Ryo Ishikawa, the star players of his same age rival are his motivation to become better. Ryo Ishikawa announced that he will challenge the US PGA cub-tour "Korn Ferry Tour" 2nd QT on September 20th. Also, it was notified that Top 5 Money Rankers after the Bridgestone Open in October will receive the chance to challenge the Final QT of the "Korn Ferry Tour".
"I want to challenge for US PGA cub-tour too. I want to be able to play on the same field with Hideki someday. In order to do so, I must get into the world class field. I really want to go abroad as soon as I could. But on the other hand, I do want to fulfill my goal to become the Order of Merit Champion on Japan Tour. So, I am still undecisive. I want to challenge that Final QT, but if I go, I will miss out on the big purse tournament in Japan, and I will lose my chance to become Order of Merit Champion. I can't decide now, so I will probably think about it until time is up."
