Dunlop SRIXON Fukushima Open 2021

Super Rookie Tomohiro Ishizaka is back with his "A game" with 10cm difference

Last November, Tomohiro Ishizuka has battled 4 extra hole playoff with Takumi Kanaya, both university student professionals, at Dunlop Phoenix and made headlines.

On the year's opening event Token Homemate Cup, Tomohiro finished at 8T. But soon after, he started to struggle making the cutline.
"I was not standing close enough on my putting stance. I found out last week, advised by my caddy. I thought I was close enough, but I wasn't. I didn't putt clean especially on my long putts. I got 10 cm closer, and it is working like magic."

He made 10-meter left to right putt from lower level of the green on 12th. From there on he made 3 straight birdies, a second one today. He finished his round by making another 10-meter on 18th. He played his R2 with bogey free and produced 8 birdies to total at 11 under.

Tomohiro was also suffering from shoulder ache, but that is all better now, thanks to the physical care he received. At first it took him a lot of courage to go into the Fitness Car for the care, as many of his elder players were there before him. But after he received the care last month, now it is his routine.
"I will visit the Fitness Car today too. When your body feels good, your game will become better. I am happy that my game was good today and am looking forward for tomorrow. I am not thinking much about the victory yet, but I want to be in contention on the weekends and give myself a chance for the win."
