Shugo Imahira finally accomplished to win at Fujizakura CC and marked his 5th Tour victory

Order of Merit Champion for 2 consecutive year, Shugo Imahira scooped away the victory from charging with bogey free round of 64. He started off at 3 shots behind the leader Ryo Ishikawa, but he managed to jump up on the top of the leader board with 12 under, at the end he had 4 shots lead against the runner-ups.

Except for the 2015 event which was his first appearance, Shugo has always finished with in Top 10 at this Fuji Sankei Classic.

Ryo Ishikawas who started out as the solo leader suffered on Sunday to play with 4 birdies and 4 bogey, even for the round and finished at 2T along with Kenshiro Ikegami.

Money Rank 3rd Takumi Kanaya finished at solo 4th at 6 under total. Money Rank 2nd Ryosuke Kinoshita finished at 5T with 5 under. The No.1 Money Ranker and Defending Champion Rikuya Hoshino had to settle for 15T at total 1 under.
Yuta Sugiura a sophomore at Nippon University finished with 3 under to receive the Lowest Amateur Award.
