Fujisankei Classic 2021

Justin De Los Santos cerebrates his 26th birthday with a 3 under, a great start at Fujizakura CC

Day 1 at Fuji Sankei Classic started with rain and eventually thick fog got in the way to resume play. But Justin De Los Santos's was felling bright and shine inside, since it was his 26th birthday on September 2nd.
"It was even difficult to see the course layout with the fog and all, and the condition was very difficult, but I am glad that I played well today."

Justin played along with Kaito Onishi, who went abroad at age of 9 to US.
"Kaito speaks English fluently, so we had fun chatting and it was comfortable atmosphere to play."
Both finished with 3 under, provisionally 6T.

"I am glad to start of my 1st day as 26 years old in such a good way."

Justin's nationality is Philippines, but he is raised in LA. He started to play golf at age of 4, by his father as a coach. He also has black belt for Karate.

He was multiple Junior titles, and during his days at California Polytechnic State University, he was the ace player. He turned Pro in 2017. Played on Asian cub-tour in 2018, but his goal was to come to Japan Tour. He made through the QT at 60th in 2018 and has accomplished well on Japan's cub-tour AbemaTV Tour and stepped up to the Regular Tour from 2020.

"Since I have turned 26 and fell very motivated. If I could play tomorrow as I did today, I could get more under."

Maybe he might be able to give himself a BIG birthday present on Sunday.
