The Crowns 2021

Chan Kim picking up from where he "lost" last week by scoring bogey free 65 on 1R

Chan Kim is back on his hunt for another victory for pro-longed 20-21 season. Chan made a great round of bogey free 65. Carded in 5 under to finish just 1 shot behind leader Takumi Kanaya after 1st Round.

His 5 birdies were great but what really stood out today was his magnificent par saves. On his back nine at Par 3 4th, his ball way buried in the sand.
"That recovery shot was great. I was saved from my mistake."
He got it to 3-meter and saved par.

Then on 5th, his tee shot went way right onto the next 6th hole, but he made superb 2nd shot to come through without a scratch.
"I don't think you could easily forget the way I lost last week."
Chan made unfortunate mistake on his final hole's tee shot which ended as lost ball and cost him double bogey to lose the tournament.

"If I start out this week bad, I won't feel this way, but with what I stand now, I think I could go on to challenge for the win."

Chan is on pursuit to make his 20-21 pro-longed season's V2 following the victory at Golf Nippon Series JT Cup last December.
