Katsumasa Miyamoto pledges to go challenge defending his champion title for his "caddy"

Due to the cancellation last year, Katsumasa Miyamoto had to wait a year to defend his champion title. 2 years ago, Wago's club house caddy Noriko Tootake helped Katsumasa to grab his victory, and they were every happy to meet again this year. She will be supporting Katumasa again for his challenge.

Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course is known to be very tough and Katsumasa was being very negative, but caddy Noriko kept on encouraging him. She has cut her hair short, but she had that same smile and happy character even through these tough times by the pandemic. She already has started to encourag Katsumasa on the Wednesday's ProAm.

"I bet it is going to be very tough from Day 1" said Katsumasa
"Stop whining, you won last time remember? Please get uses to this course by now."
"I remember this feeling. She is so positive and reliable. I bet it will be negative me getting pushed around by positive Noriko", grinned Katsumasa.

Kastumasa will turn 50 years old next season and he will be battling on both Regular and Senior Tours.
"So, this year will be my last season to fully participate on Regular Tours."
Which is why everybody expects him to defend his title.
But Katsumasa says, "No way, I don't think I could come through".
Noriko then says, "Oh, come on! You are a professional, you must say you will win again".
With a big push from Noriko, Katsumasa restates his comment, "I will try to play under par every round, and if I could make some of the miracle putt like I did last time, and hope that I could be in the good position on Sunday, may be."

If Katsumasa could come through, Noriko will be in tears with joy again.
