Young-Han Song has just come back from 2 years of Conscription which he went off in 2019. It took a while for him to be adjusted to the tournament atmosphere, but he seems to have made a total "comeback".

The wind got stronger in the afternoon today, but Young-Han Song was able to maintain his good performance from his front nine.

Tournament site, Nagoya City is under state of emergency, so all of the restaurants close at 8:00 pm, but Young-Han manages to take out services to enjoy the local delicacies. He has been enjoying curry at Kokoichi (a famous curry restaurant chain in Japan), and this week he had the chance to taste Hitsumabushi (Nagoya's popular delicacies, rice ball with Unagi and Dashi Soup).
"I can't read the Chinese characters yet, but I am getting used to reading Japanese menu."

During his 2 years of Conscription, he wasn't allowed to practice his golf, but "instead I bought books to learn Japanese writings. Now I know Hiragana and Katakana."

He was fluent speaker, but now he can also read and write Japanese. He even writes to Ryo Ishikawa in Japanese on text.
"It's fun."

This is his 3rd tournament after the he came back to the Japan Tour, but he has the chance to make his 2nd Tour victory following the win at SMBC Singapore Open back in 2016.
"There is still 18 more holes to play, so I will try not to think so much about winning and fucus on my game."
