Gate Way To The Open Mizuno Open 2021

Ryuko Tokimtasu apologized to Mizuno's President for not being able to keep the promise to win

One of the host Pro of this week, Ryko Tokimtasu finished 7 under, 14T. He was the top among all of the Mizuno sponsored players, but still he deeply apologized to the President.
"I have promised to the President but couldn't keep it. I am very ashamed."

Ryuko played along with Akito Mizuno, the President and CEO of Mizuno on the Pro-Am event on Wednesday, and he was told by the President "to win and grab the ticket to The Open".

2 years ago, Ryuko made contract with Mizuno for his gears and last year he received out fit and bag contract as well.
"The way for me to show my appreciation was to win this week."

Ryuko started out at 4 under, 28T and made his goal to reach 10 under.
"I figured the winning score will be around 15. But I wasn't even able to reach 10 under."

He made 4 birdies on his front nine to get in good roll, but he made regretful bogeys on 13th and 17th.
"I had a good momentum going but I shut it down with making the mistake by hitting to wrong places and ended up with bogeys. I couldn't do so well this week, but my game is not so bad. I couldn't accomplish this week, but I will try to win this year and show my appreciation to the President in the near future."
