Mynavi ABC Championship 2021

Amateurs dominated Mynavi' Monday qualifying tournament

Mynavi ACB Championship will be held at ABC Golf Club in Hyogo Prefecture from November 4th. Unfortunately, the tournament will be without spectators for pandemic safety reasons. 99 players, including 9 amateurs will be making appearance on the tournament 50th anniversary game.

 

Also, 9 players are the successor of Monday qualifying tournament held on November 1st. 105 players battled out and top winner was senior at Tohoku Fukushi Universoty's Taiga Sugihara.

"My tee shots were really great, and it allowed my 2nd shots to give me good chances."

 

He won by 2 shot lead with 8 under 64.

"I had perfect G.I.R today and had no trouble at all. I am so glad that I could move on to the tournament. I am in good condition, so I want to see how much I could do on the tournament. I would try to make the cutline and also try to be in contention for the victory."

 

Among the 2T at 6 under 66, local Takigawa High School senior Souta Fujii and Nippon University's sophomore Taichiro Ideriha was enlisted.
