Shaun Norris emerges to Top tie, but his heart is aching with worries for his friend's illness

Shaun Norris made his 8th birdie of the day at 18th to catch up with Yuta Ikeda to become co-leader after 2R. But Shaun's face expression was looking worried.
"My great friend back home is seriously ill. She has been important part of South Africa's Golf Association and our family has been friends for 35 years. She was there for both Shaun and his brother/caddy Kyle when their father pasted away 2 years ago. She encouraged them to enjoy playing then you will achieve a good result."

Thanks to her warm and caring advice, Shaun was able to win his 4th Tour victory.
"She really supported us mentally. We are very grateful."

When Shaun and Kyle heard that great friend was suffering cancer, they flew back to South Africa to visit her in the summer, even it would cost them to go through 2 weeks of restraining periods.
"I needed to tell her something very important. Her illness was getting better for a while, but it is serious again."

Shaun was so concerned and breaking his heart for her sorrow.
"I want to do my best for her."

Shaun is aiming to achieve his 2nd "Japan Title", following his win at 2017 Japan Golf Tour Championship, and send home the joyous message to encourage his great friend.
