ANA Open Golf Tournament 2021

Ryosuke Kinoshita finishes 3T and apologizes to the club house caddy for failing to win

Ryosuke Kinoshita was making unpleasant face expressions toward the gusty wind that made him suffer today.
He finished as 3T, 4 shots behind the winner were so disappointed and was apologizing to his trustworthy caddy.

This week, he asked the club house caddy to help him out. This caddy is known to support Yuta Ikeda win back in 2017.
"She was really precise on reading the lines. I was able to play without any stress thanks to her. But I really am regretful that I wasn't able to perform the shots that could answer to her advice."

On Final 18th green, Ryosuke and his caddy both read the line to be right to left.
"But my caddy said it is opposite and should read it left to right from her experience. She gave me a great advice, but I ended up pulling it to left. I wasn't able to make it on the last hole either."

Ryosuke says, there weren't any pressure for seeking his V3.
"I earned experience overseas this year and I am trying to level up to the international standard. So, I wanted to make charge even in this strong wind condition and win. But I must admit that my level is still not there."

Ryosuke's wish to play on international field has grown bigger after he experiences those stages this summer. He is eager to be in the US PGA and JGTO co-sanctioned ZOZO Championship in October to give himself the chance to step up.
"But I know that if I play like today, I won't be able to make any good results. I must practice harder, or I will never get to that world class level."
