Sansan KBC Augusta 2021

Scott Vincent as co-leader going on to weekend decides to keep his beard for good luck

It got windier from afternoon a Keya GC.
"I couldn't stick to my strategy today", said Scott Vincent, as he had tough holes in his front nine.
"I couldn't keep the fairways, and that placed me in troubles. My putts didn't help me either."

As he stated, he started off with a bogey on 10th.
"But I got my game back at the end, so I think I will be able to play positive tomorrow."

On his back nine 6th, his 2nd shot from 200 yards with 7I got to 3-meter, which he drained it for eagle. This became the turning point. He went on making birdies on 7th and final 9th to finish at total 10 under and became co-leader.

This is Scott's 2nd appearance at Sansan KBC Augusta, but he has already won at Keya GC. He won the cub-tour's Abema TV Tour Landic Challenge 7, back in 2019.

Keya GC has gone under major course renovation since then, but Scott says, "my play style still suites the course. I know how to attack the pins, and I also have a great memory here."

Before joining the Japan Tour in 2019, Scott has been playing on Africa, Canada, and Asian Tours. He has been playing all over the world, but this tournament is the first one to have introduction BGM on starting tee box and having music during the tournament.
"I love this atmosphere. This week we also have the spectators back, so I am really excited. I hope many more will come on the weekends."

Scott is known for beautiful gray eyes and well grown beard.
"I trim my bears every Monday. But when my wife says, it too long, it is time to shave. But she hasn't said it yet, so I should I keep it?"
His lovely wife carrying back replied with a smile.
Maybe it is keeping the good luck going.
