Course renovation seems to be my fault? Cries Defending Champion Kazuki Higa

Kazuki Higa and his caddy showed the proper "distancing" as this week Japan Tour will have spectators back.
"I think spectators are really important part of professional sports."

Kazuki, who achieved his career V2 last week at Sega Sammy Cup, and he also has the chance to defend his Champion title this week. He was very excited until he saw the course renovation.

Kazuki won this tournament with course record 26 under. But this might have caused the major renovation on the course, which many players are complaining to Kazuki.
"Many players who has played here after the renovation came up to me and complained that it is my fault that course got extremely difficult."

Keya GC took full 2 years to make the major renovation. Course added extra 107 yards including making Par 5 9th and 10th longer. Now the total yardage is 7210 yards. Also, numerous sand traps were added.
"It seems like there are bunkers laying around on my distance areas."

Also, the Korai greens, only among the Tour venues, is set so slick and fast.

Keya GC has turned into totally different monster course from 2 years ago.
"I could never defend my title here. Wind is strong, and greens are hard like concreate and total yardage is too long. From every aspect, it is impossible for me. I shifted my goal for this week is now shifted to making the cutline."
