Akio Sadakata 2 shots short for his long-dreamed 1st Tour victory

42 years old Akio Sadakata couldn't come through. He had to settle for solo 3rd.

Akio made back-to-back birdies on 9th and 10th, to get in 1 shot deficit to the leader Scott Vincent.
"I really wanted to win, so I pushed myself."

But from 11th and on, it was rough ride, as he bogeyed 11th, then made 2 birdies on 12th and 13th but bogeyed again on 14th.

He made the 3-meter birdie putt on 18th and waited for the leader Scott Vincent to hole out, but he was 2 strokes short.
"Scott was playing great, so I needed to do better."

Akio lost by 1 shot at this tournament back in 2012. He had to cry again at Keya GC.
"To be honest, my game is not so good. But I managed to play on with my spirit. So, I will try my best with my fighting spirit again next week."

Akio went to US at age of 14, and turned Pro. In 2003 season, he has played on US Tours, but hasn't had the chance to win yet.
