Scott Vincent accomplished wire-to-wire win to grab his 1st Japan Tour victory at Keya GC

Numerous kisses and big hugs. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent embraced their victory with on the green as it was one of romantic scene from movies. For a while, everybody just waited around, to give them plenty of time to enjoy their happiness.

This is 3rd year for Scott Vincent to play on Japan Tour, and he has succeeded in winning his 1st Japan Tour victory with his lovely wife, Kelsey on the bag supporting him all the way. Last Player from Zimbabwe to in Japan was Nick Price at Suntory Open in 1999.

"I am surrounded by friends, and I have my loving wife besides me. I am surprised that we could win together again at Keya GC."

Scott met his beautiful wife back in Virginia Tech days. Kelsey was a year younger and was star player on soccer team.
"It was love at first sight. I have never met such an incredibly beautiful lady."

They got married 4 years ago, and from next week on, Kelsey has been caddying for Scott.
"Olympics was once in a lifetime experience", recalled Scott, of course Kelsey was beside him.

Kelsey was a great sport women, who used to be a star player on Iceland's professional soccer team. But no matter how much Scott says, Kelsey won't play golf.
"Maybe it's because she watches my mental ups and downs during my play."

Although she has never played golf, Kelsey is perfect on yardages and reading the winds.
"During the tournament, you tend to think negative and all, but she tells me to calm down and be diligent. She is always by my side taking care of me. She is world's No.1 wife and a caddy."

Thanks to Kelsey, Scoot was able to make dramatic finish overcoming the trouble he faced. Scott had 1 shot lead going into final 18th.
"I told myself anywhere except left. But it went way left. I thought it was OB."
Luckily, the ball was inside the OB zone, but under the cliff. Kelsey told Scott to calm down, don't be upset about what has already happened. Let's find out the best solution. This advice made Scott able to hit it out to the fairways. His 3rd shot reached right side fringe. He got to 80cm with his wedge.
Scott spread his both arms and said, "It felt like long", but he safely made the par putt to win by 1 stroke. He played bogey free round of 68, and accomplished wire-to-wire victory.

This is his 2nd win at Keya GC, as he has won on the cub-tour Abema TV Tour Landic Challenge 7 in 2019.
