SMBC Singapore Open 2020

Rio's Gold Medalist, Justin Rose is already set his goal to defend his title at 2020 Tokyo

This year at SMBC Singapore Open, the 3 Olympic medalists from Rio 2016, Gold Medalist Justin Rose (ENG), Silver Medalist Henrik Stenson (SWE), and Bronze Medalist Matt Kuchar(USA) are gathered. 3 great players were also fascinated to see all of them together at 1 tournament, so they had fun taking photos together.

Justin all relaxed said, "Sentosa is really well favored by the players and it is definitely one of the best courses in Asia. I like the atmosphere, so I am looking forward playing here."

Henrik commented, "This will be my 3rd time playing here. Course and food are unique, and people are all so friendly. I am delighted to make the season start at such a great tournament."

As for Matt, "This is my first Singapore, but I asked Davis Love III where to go and what to do before I came here. As he told me, this country is beautiful and is filled with excitement."

All 3 great players stated their thoughts toward this tournament, but they were also very excited about the Tokyo Olympics coming up in July. Especially the Gold Medalist from Rio, Justin Rose was all pumped up. Justin sits as 1 ranker to be the representative with WR at 9th.
"But still my place at Olympics is not confirmed yet. Tokyo Olympics is definitely my biggest goal of this year, so as for now I must keep on playing well and build up my points. If I could succeed in making it to the Olympics, I will turn 40 years old on July 30th, so I will be having my birthday there, but I will wait to cerebrate until I win the Gold Medal again. It will be superb if I could win, and to do so on my memorable 40th year. But I will try to be well focused during the tournament to make it a great one."

Justin Rose is already well targeted to defend his title at 2020 Tokyo.
