Chan Kim finishes off with come from behind magnificent Victory to end Year 2020 season

Chan Kim took away the season ending Major tournament with narrow margin of just 1 stroke. Chan was all tied with Hiroshi Iwata and Hideto Tanihara as he faced 1.5-meter par saving putt on final 18th.
"I knew I must make it and that though made my hands shake."

Chan managed to hole it in and finished at 8 under. Chan was expecting a playoff and waited by the club house looking upon the 18th green for the final group to finish. But surprisingly, both Hiroshi Iwata and Hideto Tanihara missed their par putts and the victory rolled into Chan's hands.

Gunn Charoenkul from Thailand and Todd Baek from Korea celebrated Chan with water shower. They were the only International players who were able to come to this year's JT Cup along with Chan. Now Chan Kim has 5 Tour victories including 2 Majors following the win at the Japan Open last year.
"I am so glad that I took great effort to come back to my favorite Japan."

GTO tournaments resumed in September, but re-entry visa procedures were delayed. Chan was couldn't come to Japan until VISA Taiheiyo Masters in November. He has to go through 2 weeks of self- restraint period, but Chan says, "I had no other choice than to come back to Japan. JGTO and Players Association worked so hard for us, it was a chance that I couldn't not give away. I knew I had to take the chance."

Chan was literary canned into his hotel room for 2 weeks, but it was worth it. Chan has finished in top 5 at both VISA Taiheiyo Masters and Dunlop Phoenix to earn the ticket into the JT Cup. He went back to US for PGA Tour's ZOZO Championship and was in the same group with Tiger Woods.
"Well, to be able to play along with Tiger was one of my dreams but being able to win at this Major is best highlight of my year."

2020 season will be prolonged to 2020-2021 season, and after 6 tournaments, Chan sits at 2nd on the Money Rankings.
"I just can say that I will keep on doing my best. As for the Driving Distance Award, I am glad that they didn't measure it this week since I am having hard time with my driver now. But I will make it better and challenge that award again next year, since it is my favorite STATS."
Chan will fly to Korea to meet his grandparents.
"I will return to Arizona in January, but until then I will spend time with my grandparents."
