"This is the week that I must show my ability to win", stated Yuki Inamori who is 3 behind the leaders at 5T.

Team Srixon has been winning every tournament since September when the season resumed.
Fuji Sankei Classic was won by Rikuya Hoshino, which was his V2.
Next on Japan Open, Yuki Inamori won and marked his V2.
Last week at SMBC VISA Taiheiyo Masters, Jinichiro Kozuma made his first ever victory.

"All 3 tournaments of this season are won by Srixon sponsored players and we don't want to stop this great winning streak. Team Srixon must win since this tournament is sponsored by Srixon. I must keep this great chain reaction going" said Rikuya.

Yuki Inamori was moticvated by surprise reunion which happened at the 1st tee on Day 2. On the huge screen which connects fans by ZOOM, his hometown Miyazaki Prefecture's Miyazaki East Elementary school students appeared as "remote fans". Yuki has spent time to teach SNAG golf to the students in February.

"It's been more than 6 months, but I was happy that they remembered me. We had really fun times together and I am hoping that someone might become a professional golfer in the future. We promise to meet here at this tournament, but pandemic won't let us. But I am glad that we were able to see each other on remote. I am relieved to see that they are all doing well. I was under pressure as all of the students were cheering for me. I wish that I could win this week and make them happy too."
