Ryo Ishikawa in final group as a co-leader heading to 36-hole Final Round

He had a miss shot on his Par 3 17th, which got wet, but Ryo made a magnificent 3rd shot from the tee which stuck close to the pin to save bogey and kept his position as one of the 3-way co-leaders. Tomorrow, he will face the 36-hole marathon final hole in the final group.

Ryo had to pull out of this season's opening event due to his back ache, and he also had to withdraw at The Crowns. Many of his fans worried that Ryo may not be able to comeback to the competition this season. But after 1 month of rehabilitation and Ryo's effort, came back, and he is making a great "comeback" this week.

He came back into the tournament from Shishido Hills where he used to dislike the course but made a great big step forward at that tournament this season.
"That week in Shishido gave me back my game."

He made necessary changes in his training methods.
"I think I am at my best conditions since 8 to 9 years ago."

Tomorrow, Ryo will challenge the 36-hole final round, which he has won the same 36-hole final round at 2007 Munsingwear Open KSB Cup as an amateur.

"I need to get rid of this fatigue and recover my stamina, so I will go right to bed. I wish I could play energetically like tomorrow was Day 1."

Is the day that many fans have been waiting for coming tomorrow?
Ryo's last victory was 3 years ago. Many waits anxiously for Ryo's real comeback as a winner.
