Ryo Ishikawa very disappointed by the cancelation as "Player's Chairman"

Right after that the Final Round was called canceled, Player's Chairman Ryo Ishikawa jumped out from the club house toward the fan gathering tents. Many fans came nevertheless of the bad weather and waited for hour for the tournament to start. But unfortunate bad weather didn't allow the player to show their talents.

So, many including Rikuya Hoshino and Shota Akiyoshi was among the Player's Chairman Ryo Ishikawa to give autographs to the fans who waited for them.

Most of the spectators come on Sundays, so it is a big damage. The last time that Sunday was suspended goes back to MyNavi ABC Championship in October 2017.

"I know that we can't beat the weather, but I wish we could have done all 4 days, personally and as the Player's representative."

Ryo could also make a comeback charge on Sunday, since he did start out slow on Day 1 but was able to score 68 on Day 2 and score 5 under on Day 3.

"I think I have got some feeling back, so I wish that I could have played more here. I wish I could have done much better on the 3 days."

But Ryo was very pleased to see his fellow player from the same office had made the "host pro victory", and he praised Rikuya.
"Rikuya has power for lond drives, and he doesn't hesitate to use it. When Rikuya plays well, other young guns follow and goes aggressive. That is good for the game."

Next week, the Tour will go to Ibusuki Golf Club in Kagoshima for its 2nd Major, Japan PGA Championship. As for now, bad weather alert in announced in Ibusuki area as well.

Ryo having a face of "Player's Chairman" mask on, talked like a director, and not like a player saying, "I hope the weather would cooperate and tournament will be held with no worries" and stared at the weather forecast data.
