Shaun Norris gave a SNAG Golf lesson at the local elementary school in Okinawa

Defending Champion of this week's Heiwa PGM Championship shared his tips to have fun playing golf with the students at the local elementary school in Okinawa. He himself is a father of 1 year old son, so he was showing his warm and caring fatherhood while teaching the children how to enjoy playing SNAG Golf.

He was very enthusiastic teaching them. He bent down to have an eye contact with the little ones, and said, "I am looking forward to teaching my little one how to play" smiled joyfully.

Heiwa PGM Championship has been donating the school set of SNAG Golf to the local elementary school since the first started out the tournament in 2013. When the venue for the tournament was changed to PGM Golf Resort Okinawa in 2017, then the Player's Chairman Yusaku Miyazato took much effort in collecting donations and has given back to his hometown Okinawa.

This year those efforts that has been growing since 2013 was passed on to Shaun Norris.
"You, young ones have so many possibilities and hopes waiting for you in the future. Please believe in yourselves and try hard, work hard for your dreams."

Shaun has lost his father to illness in July.
"Children's smiling faces gave me power. I love Okinawa, I like the course. So, I really want to bring back that trophy once again".
