Kei Takahashi a talented "switch‐hitter" showed his "lefty swing" on Day 3

Kei Takahashi who managed to go onto weekend on his first appearance at this tournament and showed his talented "switch-hitting" techniques at his starting tee shot on Day 3.

Rookie and 21 years old Kei have the ability to hit both ways, but he was playing righthanded for the first 2 rounds. But he has 6 and 8 Irons and a pitching wedge as the lefty clubs in his bag.
"I don't use 6 Iron unless the yardage is perfect", so on Day 3, he replaced the 6 Iron with the "lefty driver" which he used on the starting Tee shot.

"My drive was going right at the practice range, so I thought that righthanded or lefthanded, it would be the same, so I chose lefty driver."

He also used the lefty driver on 14th, and on 18th he played his 2nd shot from 128 yards with the lefty PW and get it to 3-meter to the pin.

He was able to make the turn by 2 under par, but with the bogey on 3rd and lost ball double bogey on 4th made him fall down on his rankings. He chose to use the lefty 8 Iron on the final 9th for his 2nd shot, missed it and ended with another bogey.

He is at 290th on QT Ranking and doesn't have much chances to be on the Challenge Tour tournaments.
"If I could finish with in top 10 here, I can achieve the ticket to next week's regular tour tournament. I need to do well and grab that chance. It is honoring to be focused like this with my switch-hitting, so I would like to make best out of that spotlight and do well tomorrow."
