Mikumu Horikawa makes his first victory by wire-to-wire win

The first Major of the Reiwa Era, Japan Golf Tour Championship Mori Building Cup Shishido Hills celebrated its 20th Anniversary, and the Major title went to 25 years old Mikumu Horikawa. He has grabbed his first victory at the prestigious Major on his 5th year as a Pro.

He started off in the final group on the Final Round with same age and a rival, Shugo Imahira, along with another same age Gunn Charoenkul from Thailand.

"We were all same age, so I knew it was going to be a fun game."

Mikumu had his target score as 3 under par for today's round, and he achieved it with the score of 68. He has won this Major by wire-to-wire victory, and at the end he had 4 shots lead to the runner-up 2nd finish accomplished by his rival Shugo Imahira.
