Hideki Matsuyama finishing at 8T congratulated and praised Shugo

Host Pro pf the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament couldn't get the chance to win back the trophy from Shugo. Hideki couldn't even make the start of the Final Round and finished at total 5 under, 8T.

His chance to win this hosting tournament since 2014, was literary washed out.
"I really wanted to play before the gathered fans, but unfortunately weather wouldn't let us."
Hideki took extra time to sign autographs to the almost 100 fans instead.

Hideki refrained from coming to the press conference, since he sees that Final Round Press Conference should be special just for the winner. So, he stayed at the practice area and didn't even go to the course.
"I really want to congratulate Shugo for his victory."

Hideki's final game of the year will be President's Cup in December.
"I will do my best as one of the representatives."

Next year will be the 2020 Olympics. Japanese Hero's battle on the World's Stage will go on.
