Top Cup Tokai Classic 2019

Yuta Ikeda engraves is name with Hole-in-One at the 50th Anniversary "Top Cup Tokai Classic"

Yuta Ikeda ended the 50th Anniversary "Top Cup Tokai Classic" with total 4 over par at 42T, but he did steal the spotlight. On 8th, 230 yards Par 3 which is known to be one of the toughest holes, Yuta aimed the shot with 4 Iron, and it was swallowed into the cup.

This Hole-in-One was his 2nd in his career and it was since the one he made at 2016 Dunlop Phoenix Open's Round 2.

This hole was not the hole with a prize attached to it, but nevertheless of that fact, sponsors and the hosting Miyoshi CC offered to give 200,000-yen prize.

"I wasn't able to get much prize from the tournament result, but I am so glad that I was able to get this special prize."

Yuta has finished at 2nd in 2008, 3rd in 2009, 5th in 2014, 3rd in 2015, and another 2nd in 2016. From these results, Yuta seems to have good chemistry with the Miyoshi CC. But since he hasn't been able to fully recover from the shoulder injury, his chance for the victory seems to be a bit far away.
"I think this special prize will be a great medicine for me."

All of his fans wait for Yuta's comeback victory.
