Akio Sadakata makes a great start for a "comeback" season

Akio Sadakata is wishing to capture Seed for next year, which he lost 3 years ago. Akio scored bogey free 66, ended tied to 4th on the Final Round. A big jump from the start of the season.

"My shots were really great, and I was able to keep the momentum until the very end."
As he stated he finished with a birdie on the last with 2-meter putt.

He has lost his Tour Card in 2016, he missed the cut on both 2 tournaments that he was able to enter last year. His prize money for the season was zero.

He earned the way to comeback by getting to 15th on the QT Finals. So, this was his first appearance on the season opening event in 3 years.
"I only have few chances, but I was able to make best out of it!"

Today, he earned 5,373,333 yen. Also, an entry ticket to The Crowns, the next venue from May 2 to 5 at Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course, given to the top 10 at this tournament
His sons, 9 and 7 and 4 years old proudly saw their dad being praised by the fellow players at the club house.

"I am a big step closer to regaining my Tour Card. I actually want to do better than just getting my card back."
Next week on April 24, Akio will have his 40th birthday.
"I wish I had won, then it would have been a great birthday" he grinned.
