Casio World Open 2018

Ho-Sung Choi dances his way to grab the V2 in 5 years!

The last Ho-Sung Choi dance was not so on the rhythm, since he did not recognize that his birdie putt at the 18th was the winning putt.
"I wasn't aware of my position on the leaders board."
So, his winning dance seemed to be "added on" but he was able to dance with joy.

Ho-Sung Choi was over night leader by 2 strokes.
"I went to sleep at 9pm, but got awake at 11:30pm, then at 1am, then at 2am, and at I got up at 4:30 am ad couldn't sleep after that. I knew it was going to be a tough fight. Must have a strong heart and mind. I made the 15-meter par putt on the 2nd, and I told myself I can do it!"
45 years old came through a tough fight. He recalled saying, "Golf is something that doesn't go as you wish. But today it did."

How did his world-famous fisherman swing was built?
"Young players drive them so far and I get old every year which will lessen my chance to win. So, I wondered how I could drive further. I thought if I made my swing ark wider, it might help. I have done it and it worked. Gradually my swing became bigger and wilder."

Ho-Sung Choi's swing was noticed by Justin Thomas as he noted "Maybe I should try it." This comment got around the golfing world and Ho-Sung Choi was everybody's favorite.
"When I find some fans doing an imitation of my swing, I feel like I want to show more, so my swing becomes more drastic."
His somewhat unusual follow through is center of attention, but the point is that no matter how Ho-Sung Choi dances at the follow through, his shots at the impact is stable.

"I started to play golf later than many players. My body was too stiff, not a match to do a golf swing. So, I had to find the way to overcome that and have a way to put power into my impact. That's why I turn. I also wave the club right and left because I feel which way the ball is going at the impact. So, I try to control it by bending my body to the direction I want it to go. I bend to right and ball goes right, bend to left and it goes left. I place my feeling strongly, so I end up dancing like that. This win is all from how everyone enjoyed my play. Thank you so much."
Ho-Sung Choi's joyful dance continued on and on.

Ho-Sung Choi got him the ticket to the season final JT Cup next week. It will be his 2nd chance.
"It is the dream tournament. I cannot believe I can play there again. I will play my best until my bones break."
