Masahiro Kawamura marked splendid 63 on Round 2, which made him a bit under pressure to think negative. "After a really good round, you tend to think, I did so good yesterday how come I not playing well today?"
But Masahiro managed to play pretty good "bogey free" 3rd Round.

Masahiro decided not to lay-up even on the narrow fairways.
He had the biggest slump of his golf life last year, which resulted on losing his full season ticket.
"I'd be so conservative, lay-up and not challenge. I played too safe all the time, which eventually got me nowhere."

Masahiro regretted his failure and turned around 180 degrees.
"I made up my mind to tee off with the driver aggressively."
Aggressiveness sometime costs, but "I holed quite many par-saving putts today."
He also turned a critical situation into a big chance.
On the Par 5 16th, Masahiro aimed to get over the left side trees, but it ended in the trees.
Branches were in the way, the ball was laying on the bare ground, it was pretty tough.
"Second shot felt crisp and flew in the wishful direction. But never thought that it would end up that great! I thought it would be on the green apron or bunker."
Actually, the ball was 7-meters from the hole.

"Trouble suddenly turned to be a chance!" says Masahiro, who was really surprised to see himself accomplish that miracle shot.

He made it in two on 18th green, 2 putted for birdie, made it possible to start Top-tied in the Final Round tomorrow. For Masahiro, it will be since the Round 1 of 2013 Mitsui Sumitomo VISA Taiheiyo Masters to have his name on the top of the leaderboard.
From what he went through last year, not being able to secure his Tour Card, he seems so satisfy that he caught the chance for the victory.
"I am so happy and proud that I got myself back in the games."

This young traveling golfer will be out abroad in 2 weeks. He'll fly to Spain for European Tour QT.
"I learned to enjoy travelling. I have been to Spain before, not so much of a sight-seeing person, but I like the beautiful landscapes and great food. Grinding days of tough QT will be since when I took Japan Tour QT at age of 18."
QT at Spain will be long severe 6 days, but Masahiro has his heads up.
Stamps on his passport are way over 40 countries.
"You only live once!"
Masahiro is wishing for his Victory No.2, to give himself a big boost before his trip to Spain.
