Two-time JGTO winner Tomoyo Ikemura got his 2025 season off to a promising start by finishing tied-second at the Smart Infinity Philippine Open on Sunday.
Ikemura carded a final round two-under-par 68 to finish one shot behind French winner Julien Sale with his four-day total of 10-under-par 270 at the Asian Tour event.
2023 Money ranking champion Kazuki Higa post rounds of 70, 67, 69 and 69 to end his week at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in tied-eight place while Tatsunori Shogenji and Yosuke Asaji finished in tied-16th and 43rd place respectively.
On the PGA Tour, Hideki Matsuyama ended his campaign at the Farmers Insurance Open in tied-32nd place as Kaito Onishi and Takumi Kanaya missed the cut. Keita Nakajima and Yuto Katsuragawa also made an early exit at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship on the DP World Tour.
