Gate Way To The Open Mizuno Open at The Royal Golf Club 2019

17 Host Pros gather at this year's Mizuno Open

This year, a new and powerful player joins the Team Mizuno. Ryuko Tokimatsu also known as Gen-chan (nickname from his real name) has made the gear contract with Mizuno from this season. Including Gen-chan, all of the host pros of the Mizuno Open gathered for the photo session on Tuesday.

Ryuko Tokimatsu was advised by long time Miuzno player, Taichi Teshima after 1st Round of the ISPS Handa Matchplay 2 years ago, to try out the Mizuno clubs.

After the offer from long time Mizuno player, Ryuko chose to keep it in his caddy bag.
"I was able to win at 2017 Bridgestone and 2018 Kansai Open thanks to these Misuno clubs, so I decided to make a contract with them officially this season."

Taichi Teshima who guided Ryuko to Mizuno made his debut at Senior PGA Championship last week with top 20 finish (tied to 18th), and another Mizuno player who went along Toru Suzuki couldn't make it to this photo session since they were on their way back from US, but they will participate from Wednesday Pro-Am's.

There will be 17 Team Mizuno player attending the tournament this week. In 2015, Taichi Teshima has won as the host pro since 1986. During the tournament, Mizuno will have many attractive games and events ready for the fans to enjoy.
