Bridgestone Open 2018

It’s my turn! Says last year’s runner up Sang-Hee Lee

20 somethings are making their chain reaction of winning debuts in 2018 season. 26 years old from Korea wants to be a part of it as well. Sang-Hee Lee, who played the practice round along with Young-Han Song and Yuki Inamori last week could not praise Yuki at the 18th green for the magnificent victory, since Lee could not make the cut.
Lee followed the tournament on internet and TV broadcast, but he had to concentrate on his shot improvement to get back of the winning circle. "I believe that when you're not hitting well enough, it's waste of time to practice. So, I concentrated on mental training. "Which gave Lee a BIG hint that his swing rhythm and tempo was a bit too fast. This clue got his confidence and "A game" back, just in time for the battle at his favorite course.
"The venue, Sodegaura CC at Chiba Prefecture is suitable for draw hitters just like me" says Lee. He finished as runner up last year. With that good feeling, Lee played a great First Round and posted himself up at the top of the leaderboard.

"Last week's win by Yuki motivated me that I could win too!" says Lee, who scored an Eagle on the 9th and carded the Round with 65. Lee has won 4 times on the Korean Tour and has achieved the ticket to the Japan Tour by finishing Top Tied at the Final QT of 2012. But no win yet on his 5th year at the Japan Tour.
"I'm going follow Yuki and get my first win!"
Lee was in good position last year 1 behind the leader on the Day3, but the Day 4 was cancelled. Since Lee lost his chance for the win without a fight, he is eager to give it a revenge this week.
