Golf Nippon Series JT Cup 2018

Y E Yang keeps the lead by 4 strokes on Day 2 thanks to his wife

Day 2 sunny but cold weather at the Tokyo Yomiuri, but 46 years old leader Y E Yang was wearing half sleeve shirt at the last 3 holes.
"I was so concentrated I didn't feel the coldness."

On the toughest final par 3 18th, he couldn't get the shot from the rough 25 yards to the pin with his SW, had left 3-meter par putt, but saved it perfectly and made a fist pump.

During the round, Yang was taking really good care of his caddy, who was his beloved wife. She was carrying the bag for the first time this week. On the practice round day, Y E Yang was trying out light weight caddy bag by himself. He was carrying on his bag so many times to see how it will fit and feel. He was adjusting the straps and walking around the practice green. This was all for his loving wife! She has done his caddy by using the auto carts, but to literary carrying the bag was for the first time. So, Yang has done everything on his own. Reading the lines, calculating the distance, selecting the clubs, and even cleaning up the bunker. He was constantly checking if his caddy was placing the bag in proper position, took the few clubs in his hand so that the bag weight will be a bit lighter for her. But his wife did a magnificent job as the caddy too.
"She kept me in the proper rhythm. Told me to do what I would do in practice. So, our combination worked out great again today."

Yang being the solo leader overnight, loving couple had a little cerebration dinner at local Sushi restaurant.
"After 2 rounds and 4 strokes lead is good, but greens are so difficult at that course, so anything can happen. I must keep on leading so the others won't catch up."

Yang appreciates his wife's support dearly and works side by side for that win No.2 at the season finale.
