Ryosuke Kinoshita pledges to make back-to-back victory to give back to his benefactor

Ryosuke Kinoshita's first career victory at the Major tournament Japan Golf Tour Championship with 5-year Tour Card was bigger honor than he imagined.

"I have received so many heartwarming messages and flowers congratulating me. The win became reality after I received those thankful praises. One of the best praise was from Ryo Ishikawa. He said that your style of winning didn't look like a first timer, as I won by 4 shots lead. His words gave me confidence. I thought winning my first victory was tough, but I guess making the second one is even tougher."

Ryosuke has The Open waiting for him in July. Until then, he will play 2 tournaments in Japan.
"I want to win both and depart to The Open. I will fight hard as I could and achieve my second victory as fast as possible."

Ryosuke also has done an intense workout during the off weeks.
"I have done plenty of workouts. Pull ups, weights and dead lifts. It was really tough, and I couldn't move for about an hour after the training session. I had heavy muscle pain, but afterwards my body seems to have relaxed and gave me satisfaction."

Ryosuke has finished 2T in his debut year 2014, 12T in 2018 and 7T in 2019. His game seems to match this course, and this year he has another big support. Ryosuke's coach will carry his bag for the first time.
"Due to the pandemic, I haven't had the chance to get coach's lessons, so I am glad that coach could watch me play and check on my game."

Ryosuke went on the practice round for 9 holes a day both on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"Coach said my shots were good, so I will concentrate on my putting practice now. Coach was giving me pressure that out of 3 times that he has caddied, player won twice. Since we will be having spectators this week, I will do my best to make the tournament exciting."
