"On the clock" gave Ryuko Tokimatsu 3 straight birdies to jump up into the victory race

Ryuko Tokimatsu, the Players' Chairman has placed himself into the contention 2 weeks in a row. He made 3 birdies on his finishing holes to get him on to 2T, 2 shots behind the leader going on to the final Sunday tomorrow.
"I must thank the rules official for those 3 straight birdies", said Ryuko.

Gusty wind was making players suffer and the making players take extra time to make their shots.
"I am known to take time than average, but with the wind, I must have taken too much time. I think it was on 14th, I was told by the rules official that I am on the clock. Our party was 1 full hole delayed from the group ahead of us, and we were rushed. I was told we would get penalty if we got delayed more. So, from the next hole on, I literary just ran and hit, ran and hit until we got to the finishing hole. I didn't have time to think about the wind and just focused on my shots without taking the time think turned out to be a great success. That gave me the 3 straight birdies."

On 16th, Ryuko made the chip-in birdies from 20 yards front of the green. Then on Par 3 17th, he shot to 1.5-meter. On final Par 5 18th, he reached it two, and made 2 putt birdie to conclude.
"I guess, thinking too much is not good. In the windy conditions, I tend to think about all of the possibilities before I hit but getting rushed and having no time to think was the best solution for today."

Ryuko also thanked his caddy for running along with him.
"I ask him about the distance and hit right away, then run was the pattern. My caddy is elder than me, so it must have been really tough for him today. I must apologize."

Ryuko was in contention and finished 2T at last week's Japan Players Championship by Sato Shokuhin, where he was also in charge of organizing as well.
"I am playing well, and I was happy to dedicate to the excitement of the tournament with my game too. I was really relieved that the tournament ended safely. I think I am doing pretty well this week too. Yuta Ikeda, Yusaku Miyazato and Ryo Ishikawa all of the 3 Chairman prior to me has won during their term, so I wish I could accomplish it too."
