Many of Ryo's fan made a disappointing sigh as he walked off the 18th green.
"I was playing desperately, but I am completely worn out."
Ryo seemed to be really tired from the tough round he had to face today.

Ryo really wanted to make this 50th Anniversary event to be an excited tournament with himself being in the spotlight, but he failed to do so. He got wet on his 2nd shot at 15th and also, he got caught in the water on the final 18th. He got stuck at the 18th water 2 days in a row and had to finish his final round with double bogey. Ryo's final round score of 75 made him plunge down to 47th.

Ryo seemed to struggle fighting the strong wind above the trees.
"Recently I was able to gain more head speed and spins on my shots, but when it crashes into the headwind, the ball gets taken away high. Then if I try to beat the wind, I lose control. I really had difficulties controlling my iron shots. From Round 2, I couldn't get near to the pin at all for the past 3 rounds. All the shots were around 10-20 meters away. I even had a Par 3 that I almost OB. So, my iron shots were terrible this week."

At the ending ceremony, Ryo was awarded the eagle prize of 1,000,000-yen, which he made at the 15th on his Round 3 play.

"I had no show time during my final round today. Miyoshi is one of my favorite course and to play so bad here is very regretful."
Ryo has won here in 2009 at the age of 18, as the youngest player ever to do so. But he couldn't make anything happen on the 50th Anniversary year disappointed him.

Ryo barely kept his position as No.1 on the Money Rankings, but as Shugo Imahira finished 7th this week, and he has been in top 10 for the 5 consecutive tournaments now made him jump up to No.2. Their difference is only 10,624,315 yen now.

"Shugo is always finishing in top 10. The player who plays well consecutively like him has not been in the tour lately. Shugo's accomplishments are giving me lots of motivations. I wish to fight him head to head, and I will try not to be left behind."
