Ryosuke Kinoshita marks 63 to become as co-leader heading into weekends at Taiheiyo Masters

Ryosuke Kinoshita was feeling like he was still dreaming after the round with 1 eagle and 5 birdies.
"I am so happy to have done prefect round."

He was just 1 shot short from the course record set after the Taiheiyo Gotemba was renewed to Par 70.
"I had a great birdie chance on 8th too, to bad I couldn't make it."

Ryosuke recalled his best hole was Par 5 3rd on his back nine.
"My tee shot, and second shot were perfect. Then I had more than perfect putt to grab that eagle."
His second shot from 285 yards with 3W rolled up the apron and left him with 4-meter eagle chance.

Only trouble shot he had was on 6th.
"I had 5-meter left to save Par, but I felt confident that I could make it. In very positive way, I didn't have to think today. I think I was in the zone."

Bogey free round of 7 under performance got Ryosuke to his first ever co-leader position. He has finished 6T at SMBC Singapore Open in January, which gave him the ticket to postponed British Open.
"To be in that British Open field is what motivates me."

He has been training hard and pushing himself for that first Major stage. His driving distance got 5 to 10 yards longer, and 3 to 4 yards on his iron shots. Shot became very stable he says.
"If there were more tournaments, I could have won by now. So, I really hope that I could win soon and go to the British Open with a victory under my belt. My good buddy Hideki Matsuyama is doing well at The Masters, so I will try to do my best here at Japan's Masters."
